Kiss me Kate Kiss me Kate was one of Cole Porter's greatest hits, running on Broadway for over 1000 performances. This is the complete recording which uses the original orchestrations from the theatrical edition with an all star cast including Thomas Allen and Diana Montague.
My Fair Lady Winner of the 1997 Gramophone Magazine Music Theatre Award. Based on George Bernard Shaw's Pygmalion, the lyrics are by Alan Jay Lerner and music by Frederick Loewe. Dessa Rose tells the moving story of two women's life journeys in the early 1800s.	Godspell Godspell became an international phenomenon almost as soon as it received it's premiere off Broadway over 30 years ago. This new digital recording is the only complete recording of the score and the composer Stephen Schwartz went into the studios to conduct some young and upcoming British stars incuding Darren Day, John Barrowman, Ruthie Henshall, Jacqueline Dankworth, Clive Rowe and others.
Jesus Christ Superstar Considered by many to be Andrew Lloyd Weber's best work, this complete recording features theatrical actors as opposed to rock singers. This is so that a new and interesting take on Lloyd Weber's beloved score is presented to emphasise the dramatic aspects. Lady in the Dark This is the only complete recording of the Kurt Weill masterwork and it is the Cast Album of the National Theatre award winning production starring Maria Friedman who won the Olivier Award for her role. The score includes great songs such as The Saga of Jenny, My Ship and Tchaikovsky. The lyrics are by Ira Gershwin.	Man of La Mancha The international hit, Man of La Mancha is given its first and only complete recording here. For the first time such hit songs as The Impossible Dream, Dulcinea, Little Bird, Man of La Mancha and others can now be heard in the context of Don Quixote's legendary Spanish adventure. Snoopy Based on the beloved cartoon strip this musical is particularly popular with young people. Street Scene Recognised as one of the greatest American operas besides Porgy and Bess, Kurt Weill's Street Scene was given a sensational production by the English National Opera in the 1989. This complete Original Cast recording (libretto and score) features Catherine Zeta Jones, Christine Ciesinski, Janice Kelly, Buonaventura Bottone and Richard van Allan. The English National Opera Orchestra and Chorus is conducted by Carl Davis.
The Cradle will Rock This seminal work is here given a great complete recording of the Original Cast from the Actor's Company (New York). It features Patti LuPone. Mark Blitzstein's amazing score has been acknowledged by various Broadway composers as having influenced appreciation of musical theatre. It is a precursor of the great works of Leonard Bernstein and Stephen Sondheim.	The Student Prince Some of Operetta's most beloved songs such as Serenade, Drinking Song, Just We Two and Deep in my Heart are sung to perfection by Marilyn Hill Smith, David Rendall, Diana Montague, Bonaventura Bottone and Norman Bailey in this first and only complete recording of Sigmund Romberg's The Student Prince. The original stage orchestrations played by the Philharmonia are conducted by John Owen Edwards.
